    Introduction:-

    Under the Primary Education Department of Dhule Zilla Parishad, education is provided to children from classes 1 to 8 to Zilla Parishad Primary Schools. At the district level, the Education Officer (Primary) is the head of the department and at the taluka level, the Block Education Officer is the head of the taluka is responsible to provide quality education to students from classes 1 to 8, various schemes sponsored by the Central Government and the State Government are implemented through the Primary Education Department of the Zilla Parishad.

    Objectives of the Department:-

    1. To impliment effectively the Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act, 2009.
    2. To implement various activities to provide quality education to students. For example, Mission Utkarsh, learning level determination, remedial study, teaching (scholarship practice examinations are organized at school level and FLN at district level)
    3. To Provide physical and educational facilities to all primary schools run by the Zilla Parishad
    4. To Provide modern technological tools (Digital Classroom) and technicians for quality education.
    5. To Plan and organize various competitions to make the students intellectually and physically competent.

    Objectives and functions:-

    There is a provision to hold meetings of the Education Committee from time to time. All the Zilla Parishad members of the Education Committee participate in the proceedings of this meeting. This meeting is organized by the Education Department. The ajenda for the meeting of the Education Committee is notified 10 days before the meeting. The minutes of the meeting are taken with the approval of the Honorable President, Education Committee and are finalized and sent to all the honorable members of Zilla Parishad.

Action on Adjustment of Private Teachers as per Group Recognition.
